PARTNERSHIPS

SOTO is in partnership with a number of organisations.

Soto has existing partnerships with london local authorities, providing dance, emotion memory (as a form of release and self expression, it is an improvised therapy session for young people and adults to interpret and connect with their emotions in a safe and supported environment), music production, drama, vocal coaching and choirs to a diverse group of young people of both targeted and mainstream backgrounds.

A highlight for SOTO is the running of our sessions for young people with learning difficulty and disability and our sessions that run inclusively as open access and integrated. Bringing young people from the margins to the mainstream.

We are always looking to expand our partnerships and encourage volunteers as part of increasing our community projects and provisions.

Our partnerships currently consist of:

The Royal Academy of Dance, working with students training to become teachers in community, private and public sector.

Bridging the Gap, working with NEET students offering work experience placements for one or two weeks

Local Authorities working in schools, as part of their curriculum. Partnering local youth support services to deliver projects. And delivering community arts sessions yo young people of the community.

“You dance love, and you dance joy, and you dance dreams. And I know if I can make you smile by jumping over a couple of couches or running through a rainstorm, then I’ll be very glad to be a song and dance man.”
